Myxini. Rodian bounty hunter newly started in the field looking for his first big score to help solidify his future place in the big hunt and in the galaxy as one of the best bounty hunters around

Takadocka 212 BBY
Wookie slave Technician. Recently acquired from the imperial spice mines at a nice low price by an enterprising young rodian bounty hunter. The rodian was told the wookie had a good tech skill set but the cost to keep him out in field due to his chronic respiratory disease wasn’t worth the bacta.

One armed, patchy fur and missing more then a few teeth; Takadocka just doesn’t look like he has more then a few years left. Of course looks can be deceiving. …

Knowing that a successful bounty hunting operator is only as strong as his support team. Even a one armed wookie was better than working solo right out of the gate and so Myxini felt the outlay of the last of his credits to acquire Takadocka and equip both himself and his new wookie companion was worth the cost. And besides Myxini remembers that he could have been in the same boat as Taka if not for the Togruta bounty hunter that had taken him in as a child

Tackadocka was of mixed feeling when he stepped out of Mos Espa spaceport with his Rodian “owner”. The air was clean and he was clean for the first time in years. Still, trading one master for another meant that he would have to wait that much longer for freedom and REVENGE.

The image of a dark robed female twi’lek crackles to life from your holoscreen. Red lips form a cool smile a she speaks:

“Greetings. My name is Keela Stane, majordomo of Teemo the Hutt. Whoever you are, if you are receiving this message then you have somehow garnered my employers attention. I will be brief. Teemo is putting together a team to acquire an item of great value to his clientele. Each of you have skills that will be of value to this venture. So certain is he that you will accept this offer of employment that he is offering 1000 credits to each of you, just for showing up to meet with me in person to discuss the finer details of the job, and your respective rewards. I will be at the Splash at Tatooine, located in Mos Espa in 3 days. I look forward to meeting each of you.”

The image flickers, then disappears.

The incense these Hutts used to make his clients feel at ease had the added benefit of making them tipsy and easier to accept a hard bargain. To this Transdoshans nose it stank like the Twi’leks dancing in the city bars. Teemo had just offered him one such hard bargain and his dwindling bank account had forced him to accept. To add insult to injury, he couldnt even leave to start this underpaid job because the suboptimal Hyperdrive ignition switch he bought here last time crapped out on him when he landed at the spaceport. Trex was the worst kind of bounty hunter. Pissed off and broke.

Kai Kolir, a Bothan explorer new in town himself, can’t help but pick-up on the frustration and vengeful look in eyes of the experienced yet scruffy wookie and decides to offer his assistance to the newly freed wookie.
Perhaps this is the cause that will launch me to greatness, Kai thinks to himself, as he considers how to best approach the wookie to gain his confidence the quickest way possible If a storm is brewing, Kai wants to be on the vanguard of it!!

Still working on a name. But I’m thinkin Bothan Explorer. Compelled by an undeniable wanderlust he is always looking for that next adventure. He suffers from an undeniable inner god complex, he can’t explain why, but he is certain he is destined for greatness. He is willing to accept risks many others won’t because he believes his grand destiny will be revealed at any moment. Getting by on street smarts native to his species, and dumb luck, he has managed he way off his native planet in a constant search for galactic fame. I’m thinking he is like a brass 20something who life hasn’t humbled yet. Whatever that equates to in Bothan years

Dantooine. 16 aby. Two stormtroopers have both their arms ripped of after a routine traffic stop of a landspeeder piloted by a wookie.

One died. The other is learning to brush his teeth using his toes to hold the brush.

Yes I recall that incident
Wasnt that wookie 12 standard years, female and the stormtroopers were harrasing her and tried to get her in their landspeeder when her father arrived. As a parent myself I dont blame him.

And for that Tokadocka ends up on Kessel for the last 16 years

So now I am free, brown and 212. Got a rodian backer and 16 years of pissed off payback. There is a storm coming and Tokadocka rides with it

Well…..you have to talk to my employer. I am his tech man. We are trying to get him in The Great Hunt

The galaxies are vast and to get people’s attention, to make a difference, to be come famous, you must caputre the attention of the people. What better story than a one armed former slave wookie fighting for respect and place in the society as an equal!! All of these thoughts and more race thru Kai’s 16 y.o. Bothan brain! He will be the most famous of his clan, he has to be!

I just want some imperial pay back. I figure a botham explorer, rodiN bounty hunter and a wookie technician. Good start

Kai is young. Many call him naive, some call him overly confident. Oblivious to the nay-Sayers, Kai is never lacking in moxie, but he is just wise enough to know he will need some help. Someone who’s got his back, and Kai knows the best way to garner loyalty in this part of the galaxy is to pay for it!
First step, find some “muscle”. Kai gives a quick smile, can intergalactic fame be far off?!?

Maximus Darchandrian. Former emperial leutienant, commander of the 3018 insurgancy force, recon detachment sits in a fringe cantina wondering where to now. After deserting his command and troopers after being ordered to slaughter an entire village of mon calamari. Now on the run with out resources, its time to get a job.
I have a gun and im hungry…

With the Bothan creedo “never fly alone” running over and over thru his mind, Kai looked at the tattered door to the cantina. He didn’t have time to convince any of his clan to join him on his quest. His reputation as the “Bothan who cried Rankor” one too many times proceeded him. But this was the break he had been waiting his while life for, it had to be. This time for sure! How many times had this young explorer said that? No matter, Kai thought, this was real, he had come here at the invitation of an infamous Hutt, this was it. No one on the other side of that door would know or care of his past track record.
With all the confidence of a much more accomplished adventurer Kai pushed open the door and entered the cantina

Letting the image from the holocommunicator dye away from his vision Myxini set back thinking to himself, the Hutts why did have to be the Hutts. The chance of running into Rendrak (his former bounty hunter master) just went up drastically! Rendrak was one of the Hutts favorite bounty hunters. But this time things would be different, this time Myxini had developed his training and was extremely deadly with his trusty blasters and not to mention this time Myxini wasn’t alone he had Toka with him and even though Toka was still adjusting to his new cybernetic replacement arm he was still a wookie and strong enough to rip the arms off a gundark with only one arm. Nothing was going to stop Myxini from getting into the great hunt and pulling this job off for the Hutts would be a good start in that direction. And besides Toka apparently had picked up a friend in a young and naive bothan named Kai who could come in handy even if it was for cannon fodder.
Now thought Myxini as he rose from the table at the back of the splash cantina where is that dam imperial commando, you would think a former Recon commander would be more punctual… Myxini hated being late, cause in this part of the galaxy being late either meant you were DEAD or making other plans! Dead I can deal with, but other plans could directly impact the great hunt and that Myxini couldn’t afford.

Keela stane…teemo the hut…1000 creds… that will work. Maximus was well trained and willing to kill. But having a patron would make getting jobs much easier
3 days… that was 2 days ago… pudoo!!!! Lucky for me im only 2 hours away..catching a lift with a local junker.. and maximus was on his way to a new life, maybe this one will turn out differently

It’s been a hard run for the smuggler, con-man, and rogue known only as Pash. First he was ejected from Imperial flight school for “insubordination” (Which is apparently a fancy word for “stealing a shuttle for a quick flight around the planet when bored on day”). Then his favorite speeder-bike was impounded when he fell behind on his debt payments. Then Pash was arrested for drifting on the streets of Aldera, on the planet Alderaan. Then he was transported for hard labor in the spice mines of Kessel, Which was apparently some Alderaani noble’s way of getting back at Pash for something involving the noble’s daughter. Then the transport carrying him to kessel was attacked by pirate and Pash was press-ganged into service. Then the pirates were defeated by an Imperial frigate and Pash was arrested for piracy. Then Alderaan was blown up by the super battle station called the Death Star and things got really tense. Then Pash was set free by an Imperial officer name Herkin, who explained that Pash now owed him a huge favor, and by the way Pash was now going to fly starships for a gentle being named Teemo the Hutt.

There you have it guys im a protocol servant droid for Pash. I aid in suggling with storage compartments and body part accessories that can be modified for his weapons but personally can not harm a person.

Keela stood before the gathered group of smuggler, mercs, and miscreants. As her gaze travelled to each, she introduced them to the others.

“Myxini. Bounty hunter apprentice. Preparing for the Great Hunt. So exciting.” She stated flatly, demonstrating a deliberate lack of excitement. “I see you’ve brought along a couple of… friends.” Keelas gaze drifted to Taka, and Kai. “I’m sure you understand that the 1000 credits is for you, alone. How you choose to disperse it amongst your party is up to you.” Myxini nodded his understanding, before the red skinned twi’lek continued.

“Trex. Bounty hunter of the trandoshan.” Keela glanced back and forth between the trandoshan and rodian. “I trust that cooperation between two professionals will not be a problem during this venture?” Trex and Myx barely acknowledged each others presence, but nodded.

“Pash.” Keelas eyes met the pilots and locked for a moment. Pash couldn’t place it, but there was something familiar, comfortable about the warmth that emanated from the twi’lek. Though he was certain they had never met before, her look made him feel as though he had known her all his life. Keela seeming to realize that her cool facade had begun to fade, quickly regained her composure. “Smuggler, pirate, bandit. According to my resources you’re the best pilot the outer rings have seen since Ru-Jax Kang. You’re just waiting for your big break.” Pash tried not blush as the room filled with smirks and chuckles at his expense. If Keela was trying to make him look good, she was failing. First impressions are everything and having the rest of the team know that Teemo’s majordomo had a thing for him was not good for business.

Keela nodded briefly at the droid accompanying Pash. "An astromech would e more useful, but i could see where a good protocol droid could come in handy.

“So what’s the job?” Trex growled impatiently.

“There is still another…” Keela began. “Sorry i’m late.” A voice came from the door as it whooshed open. A young man, instantly recognizable as at least ex-military by the way he carried himself, if not by his punctuality stepped up to join the rest.

“Maximus.” Keela announced to the group. “Former soldier. One of the fastest to ever rise through the imperial ranks. Also one of the fastest to fall from glory.” Keela shook her head in mock pity.

Maximus set his jaw. “If you just called me here to insult me, i would like my creds now please.”

A sharp smile returned to Keelas face. “I assure you, i did not call you here only to insult you, commander. I called you here to introduce you to your new squad. My master believes your military background uniquely qualifies you to lead this mission.”

“So, to begin. I believe first there is the matter of compensation for your time.” Keela motioned to the small astromech at her side. With a whiz and a few beeps the small droid wheeled forward and produced a small attachment from one of many hidden compartments. “I assume each of you brought a credstick. If not, i may provide one for you.” Keelas sharp grin widened. “For a small price if course.”

One by one, the party stepped up and collected their pay. Once they were done Maximus spoke up. “Okay. Lets hear it.”

Keela nodded. “Of, course.” As she spoke, the astromech tipped back an a life-size holographic image of a grizzled, elderly gammoran appeared. “This is Garr. Former head of security in Jabbas palace. Upon Jabbas unfortunate demise a power struggle emerged among his employees for control of his empire. Two factions vied for power one led by Jabbas former majordomo, Bib Fortana. The other by our friend, Garr.”

Kai spoke up for the first time “Let me guess. Teemo realized that a dumb Gamorran would be much easier to manipulate that a cunning twi’lek like Fortana?”

Keela smiled at the Bothan. “Very observant. With Teemos backing Garr quickly eliminated Fortana and took control of the palace.”

Keelas smile faded and a dark look overtook her as she spoke. “Until recently, Garr has proven to be a wonderful ‘business partner’ to my master.”

The image flickered and changed to that of another Gamorran. This one younger and larger than the previous. “This is Ruut. Garrs son and sole heir. Recently Garr has been… Difficult. His communications have been defiant and he is behind on his paying his tribute to master Teemo. Master Teemo suspects that Ruut may be behind this insurrection. Garr is old, an gammorrans do not tolerate weakness, and no doubt Ruut smells blood. Likely, Garr is showing defiance to appear strong to his son.” A smirked crept across Keelas face as she continued. “Gamorrans are not known for their intellect, as we have already determined.”

The image shifts to that of a large domed cylinder shaped building. “This is Garrs palace. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to infiltrate Garrs palace and either assassinate Ruut, or gain his allegiance and remove Garr from power.”

“How do we get in?” Trex asked.

“That is up to you. Master Teemo has provided you each with 1000 credits. That may purchase your supplies. Furthermore, i am to provide you an unmarked skiff to transport you to the facilities.” Keela responded, nodding to Pash. “You already have a most capable pilot.”

“Pay?” Maximus said what everyone was thinking.

Keela grinned. “Master Teemo has given me instructions to authorize a transaction of 50,000 credits to each of the individuals that received my initial communication. As with the 1000 credits, you may divide your pay as you see fit amongst your friends.”

Returning to her initial bored stance, Keela let gaze meet everyone’s one final time before her departure. “Do we have a deal?”

(Whew! Okay guys. Its in your hands now. You guys can write as much or as little as you want. I’ll try to facilitate the story and keep it on the rails, but you guys can get creative and write the story how you want. I just ask that you try to not get all wacky. Maximus thought to himself…2 hired guns, a droid, pilot, pimple faced bothan, and dont forget the abused walking rug…. you have had worse platoons with privates who deserved to be actuator grease… we can do this…. we need the money… maximus turned to keela “im in”.

Pash relaxed his stance, crossing his arms and nodded in agreement. “Count me in”
With slight reservation while standing with Pash nods agreeingly as well.
